1988
PERFECTING the craft.
The year 1988 was a turning point - the first sewing workshop was established in Tczew, northern Poland. Initially, sewing shirts for small boutiques in Germany. Precision and attention to detail quickly earned recognition, laying the foundation for Mr. Szychulda’s legacy of quality and craftsmanship.



1989
THE BIRTH OF EMANUEL BERG
Perpetual search for excellence and style, as well as passion for men’s elegance evolves into something greater - the founding of Emanuel Berg. With years of expertise refined, the first collection of signature shirts emerges, defined by impeccable quality, precision, and timeless style.



1993
GRAND OPENING OF the FIRST flagship boutique in COLOGNE
After years of success in selling Emanuel Berg shirts to stores across Germany, the brand takes a bold and ambitious step closer to its customers. The first boutique in Cologne quickly gains popularity, offering not only exquisite collection of ready-to-wear garments, but also a refined in-store shopping experience, seamlessly blending excellent customer service with made-to-measure sewing.

1998
The SAME VALUES, FEMININE TOUCH.
Petra Szychulda, the wife of Jaroslaw Szychulda, enriches Emanuel Berg’s legacy. Meeting the expectations of female customers, Emanuel Berg debuts the first women’s collection. Another bold step forward showcasing the brand’s versatility while embracing the same values of craftsmanship, premium materials, and timeless elegance - now with a refined feminine touch.


1999
10 years of excellence.
Reflecting on the first decade of the brands activity, Szychulda family have already established a strong worldwide position in white label manufacturing, resulting in countless prestigious partnerships with leading brands. From the very beginning, the company’s priority has been quality and the cultivation of long-term business relationships, exemplified by its ongoing collaboration with the renowned fabric producers - Cotonificio Albini and Loro Piana.

An important handshake in the brand’s history marking the beginning of partnership with late Silvio Albini, the Italian textile leader and CEO of Cotonificio Albini and Thomas Mason, renowned for his worlds highest-quality fabrics.

2006
rapid GLOBAL expansion.
Simultaneously, Emanuel Berg brand is flourishing by opening multiple flagship boutiques and being already available in majority of luxury fashion stores across Europe. Under the leadership of Jaroslaw Szychulda, the company expanded its presence to the markets of the USA, Japan, France, Spain, Sweden, and England.

2011

During 80th edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence, Emanuel Berg presents its newest collection, being the only Polish brand chosen to participate in this prestigious event. This exceptional distinction is another milestone for the brand, strengthening its position among finest brands in the luxury fashion industry.


2013

The opening of the boutique in the heart of Paris, on the prestigious Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, was a symbolic entry into the world of haute couture. The founders agree that this was not only an exceptional achievement, but also a wonderful reminder of where their passion has led them.

2018
EMANOU. BORN IN FRANCE.
Inspired by the south of France, Petra Szychulda launches a new brand - Emanou. During the annual summer vacation in St. Tropez, Petra met Catrin Schanz, a friend, accomplished designer and creative director in the fashion industry. They have a long shared vision of elevating the design of a classic shirt to create a collection of feminine, playful blouses with a nod towards classic sophistication.


2020
business maturity during tough times.
After more than three decades of strong development, having millions of shirts sold worldwide, Szychulda family ventures confirm their business maturity during difficult times of the pandemic. Brands versatile and diversified production supports many partnering companies in managing their supply chain to survive. Over the years Emanuel Berg white label manufacturing offer expanded to over 2000 different fabrics, almost 200 collar types, over 120 cuff types, wide selection of buttons including pearl buttons, as well as personalisation options with wide range of monogram fonts and its placements.

THE NEW era - berg’s the concept store
Emanuel Berg’s legacy resulted not only in countless exceptional products, but above all in long lasting relationships with leading brands, retailers and manufacturers. With endless appreciation of their efforts, Szychulda family decides to launch Berg’s. It is not only a continuation of Emanuel Berg tradition and its in-store outstanding made-to-measure services, but also wide selection of worlds finest brands, including MooRER, Herno, Jacob Cohen, Circolo 1901, Crockett & Jones, PT Torino, and more.

CRAFTSMANSHIP AND TRADITION MEET TECHNOLOGY.
Victor Emanuel Szychulda, the son of Petra and Jaroslaw, brings a fresh perspective on garments selection, as well as marketing and brand building strategies. Growing up in the heart of the family business, surrounded by the atmosphere of production, fashion and international fairs, he was imbued with the passion of his parents, for whom hard work and dedication were an inseparable whole. Victor is committed to developing the brand's digital presence, as well as online store.
